A series of macro photographs of bones found on my walk along the Thames foreshore. I titled this series of images and the video made alongside it Unknown Landscapes to highlight the hidden beauty of these objects that most people would view with disgust or morbid fascination- close up these bones appear like landscapes of another planet, full of craters and valleys.
This branch of the In The River project was helpful in developing my skills behind the camera, particularly through the use of macro lens, which I had not used before, and utilising DIY light sources to create these images.
