About

Kat Outten [b 1994] is a multidisciplinary artist, designer, and mental health campaigner based in London, UK. 
Their work explores a variety of topics such as mental health, disability, accessibility, working class identity, queer identity, and body image, amongst others. Currently they are part of the Work Exchange Programme at The Kiln Rooms, a ceramics studio based in Peckham, London, where their current practice focuses on ceramics as a medium. Previously they have worked on a freelance basis with 3rd Rail Print Space, a screen printing studio based in Peckham, running one day screen printing workshops for beginners. They are a core member of the Working Class Creatives Database helping to organise events and helping set up the residencies at their studio space at SET Woolwich. Previously they were a Rights Advocate for the Make Our Rights Reality campaign.
